The shower situation was just ridiculous. Trying to adjust the showerhead was a hassle because it leaked everywhere, making the floor super slippery. Plus, the confusing setup didn't help;

Thoroughly enjoyed our clean and fantastic rooms.
The room for having usb enabled plug sockets which is great for travelling with electronic devices. Central heating, multi-channel television, and coffee/tea making machines were good.

The location of this hotel is spot on! Right in the heart of town, you're just a stone's throw from all the bars and restaurants, plus it's super close to Tatton Park for a lovely day out. I found the room to be charming and clean, which was a nice touch. The complimentary breakfast basket left at our door was convenient too, even if we didn't use it both mornings.
Sadly, the experience was marred by some annoying issues. The reception was a mess—no one around when you needed help, and parking is basically nonexistent. My room was stuffy and dark, which didn’t make for a relaxing stay at all. Plus, a panel in the bathroom was falling off, which just screamed ‘run down. ’ I honestly expected better, given the charm of the area.

It was perfectly pleasant stay, I enjoyed splendid food.
Everything was as really good as it could be. The room was top-notch and cosy and with tasteful decoration. Central location of this excellent central hotel was a bonus. The restaurant was clean, and the staff efficient and attentive.

It was fairly clean place, staff were really friendly and supper friendly, and I thoroughly enjoyed my new-fashioned room. The location was great and I could use free parking onsite. And the area was pretty nice, very close to the centre as well as bars and restaurants.
The hotel staff was very unpleasant.

this was a minor issue compared to the overall quality of my visit.

The breakfast basket was a thoughtful touch, although it was too warm to enjoy in our room—maybe offering fans in summer would help. Despite some minor issues, we appreciated the spaciousness and proximity to local attractions like Pickmere Lake and Tatton Park, making it a nice family getaway.

We recently enjoyed a stay at the Angel, and the location was fantastic, right in the heart of the town, making it very convenient. The staff offered a warm welcome, and our room was spacious and well-furnished, providing a comfortable base for our visit. We appreciated the availability of tea and coffee-making facilities, and the secondary double glazing ensured a peaceful night's sleep despite nearby noise.
No complaints, but breakfast options were lacking. 😕.

great central base for exploring parks and charming landmarks
I loved that it was just a short stroll to the Penny Farthing Museum and Knutsford Heritage Centre, making my weekend exploring the city so much easier and enjoyable while the staff were really kind and delivered a lovely breakfast basket to my room each morning.

Charming atmosphere with a cozy pub vibe that invites relaxation. The assortment of teas, coffees, and biscuits provided offered a pleasant touch for unwinding after a long day.
The noise from live music on Saturday nights shakes the room. With thin walls, any gatherings or parties can intrude on your peace-definitely not ideal for early sleepers. The breakfast selection is basic, mostly consisting of pre-packaged items that don't exactly scream gourmet. The bedding offered hard mattresses and flat pillows, which might not be the most comfortable for everyone.
